Brisbane (Energy Publishing) - Queensland industrialist Clive Palmer has announced a 20-year US$60B deal with Chinese power company, China Power International Development, to supply coal from its proposed China First project in the Galilee Basin. The agreement, which is being touted as Australia’s largest coal export deal, is for 30Mtpa of coal a year from the six mine operations Palmer is planning for the Galilee. |
