Brisbane (Energy Publishing) - Indonesian state-owned power utility PLN will construct a special coal receival terminal on Java for the Labuan coal-fired power plant, according to Asia Pulse. The 2 x 315MW power plant in Pandeglang regency, Banten, was inaugurated by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on 28 January 2010. The power plant is part of PLN’s 10,000MW accelerated coal-fired electricity generation program designed to overcome Indonesia’s power supply shortages. |
