New Premier warns of coal royalty hike

Queensland's newly-elected Premier, Campbell Newman, told reporters yesterday that if the Federal Government's Mineral Resource Rent Tax (MRRT) does not deliver the expected revenue in the state's coffers, he won't rule out increasing coal royalties to compensate.
